Hon. Meshach Tula Declares Bid for House of Reps, Pledges Effective Representation

Hon. Meshach Godwin Tula, a prominent figure from Karim-Lamido, has officially declared his intention to contest for Member Lau, Karim-Lamido and Ardo Kola Federal Constituency under the All-Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.

In an exclusive interview with Worldview Magazine at his Jallingo residence, Hon. Tula promised to deliver effective and impactful representation for his constituents.
He emphasized his readiness for the position, citing his age, educational background, and extensive experience as key qualifications.
“I am stepping forward not just to occupy a seat but to hit the ground running. I will serve with dedication, transparency, and results-driven leadership. Over the years, I had the opportunity to work with one of the strongest and experienced politicians, Honorable Danladi Baido. I have worked with him as a Senior Legislative Aide during his two terms at the National Assembly so I have what it takes and I know how the system works,” he said.
Honorable Tula known for his grassroots engagement, pledged to prioritize infrastructure development, education, and youth empowerment if elected. “I have gone round the thirty-one (31) wards of my Constituency with my principal Hon. Danladi Baido so I am not new to my constituents in fact, I have more coverage and prominence than any of the aspirants. I understand that leadership is given by God and I believe that he has designed this time for me,” He said.
He reiterated his commitment to working with the All-Progressives Congress (APC) till the end. “I am not ready to decamp to another party, I will work with the APC till the end and even if I don’t win, I will still support and work closely with the winners, “he promised.
He further urged his constituents to enrol for voters’ registration and ensure to participate actively in the coming elections.
