Ishom Hails Ter-Tiv Plateau, Ngugaana, at Birthday

Comrade Amb. Nicholas Ishom has celebrated the Ter-Tiv of Plateau State, HRH Chief Benjamin Shiaondo Ngugaana, describing him as a traditional leader whose years of service have strengthened unity, peace and the cultural identity of the Tiv people.

In a birthday message, Ishom commended Ngugaana for his contributions to Tiv affairs, particularly during his tenure as President of Mdzough-U-Tiv, Plateau State Chapter, where he said the traditional ruler demonstrated purposeful and unifying leadership.
He described Ngugaana’s emergence as Ter-Tiv Plateau State as a recognition of his longstanding service and commitment to the advancement of the Tiv community.
According to Ishom, the traditional ruler has continued to provide fatherly counsel and promote peaceful coexistence among Tiv sons and daughters resident in Plateau State and beyond.
He noted that Ngugaana’s leadership has also been marked by humility, wisdom and concern for the welfare of his people.
Ishom prayed that God would grant the Ter-Tiv many more years in good health, while giving him renewed strength and wisdom to continue his service to the Tiv community.
“May your reign be peaceful, fruitful and filled with many more celebrations,” Ishom said, as he congratulated the traditional ruler on his birthday.
He wished Chief Ngugaana continued success and fulfilment in his traditional responsibilities.
