Worldview Magazine sets to occupy social media space

Staff of the Worldview Magazine has been trained on the use of special applications skill. The training was aimed at upgrading the social media skills of the magazine’s staff in order to have a smooth transition and grip of the diverse social media space.

Delivering the lectures, the resource persons from Crownmatrix Technologies Limited led by team leader Lucky Bitrus and assisted by Salis Godgift, stated that for the magazine to have feasibility on the social media space, its staff needed to be drilled on the application tools such as Canva AI, Photo room, Chatgbt, Grok, Video Editing, Capcut, In short, Video Editor and Knie master.
The resource persons explained that Canva AI as one of the technologically driven App, is used to design or post any breaking news story on social media platforms such as Facebook. While the Photo room is used for pictures with background for the purposes of cropping or extracting such background to be moved or send to Canva for publishing. They described these Apps as powerful tools for social media templates, reclassifying them as very fascinating which made pictures of news personalities clear, attractive and captivating.
Similarly, the resource persons described Chatgbt, as a brand that can be used to promote a page. Chatgbt according to them, could also be used to shorten and bring out the summary or the main idea of the entire news story when posted on Facebook which easily draw attention of followers.
In the same vein, grok as an App also do perform the same function as Chatgbt, according to the focal persons. Though Grok has a customized template, maintaining that stories can be developed with the above applications very effectively.
On Capcut, Video Editor, Inshort, and Knie master, Facilitators described them as powerful application tools used for videos editing that generate reels stories on Facebook, saying that pictures tell stories better than words.
The resource persons urged the Worldview Magazine Staff to avail themselves of this opportunity and make use of the skills learnt, if they desired to remain atop in this ever increasingly and challenging industry.
In his closing remarks, the Editor-In-Chief, Worldview Magazine and Chairman NUJ, Taraba State Chapter, Comrade Mathew Eluid Jen, thanked the resource persons for their transfer of knowledge-based skill to the staff of Worldview, saying that the knowledge imparted would in no distant time manifest to change the face of this medium positively. He expressed his readiness to invite them again for further exchange of ideas.
