Quality assurance mechanisms have been strengthened, internal academic reviews have been prioritised and a culture of compliance with regulatory standards has become institutionalised. The result is a university steadily positioning itself among Nigeria’s reputable centres of higher learning.

Beyond academic reforms, Prof. Bako’s leadership style reflects a human-centred approach. Discipline among staff and students has been reinforced, not through intimidation, but through structured systems and clear policies.

The 700-Capacity Hall: A Symbol of Growth
Another landmark project nearing completion is the 700-capacity hall poised to become the second-largest building in the University. Designed with multiple office spaces, it will serve as a hub for conferences, seminars, academic engagements, and administrative activities.
This facility is more than infrastructure; it is a statement of ambition—an indication that TSUJ is preparing for larger gatherings, broader collaborations, and greater intellectual exchanges.
